This page describes, in plain language, exactly what GoOnKeys collects and does with your information — matching what the site and its job-alert service actually do today.

What we collect

Depending on which part of the site you use, GoOnKeys may collect:

Contact and profile details you submit through a form — name, email address, phone number, target job title, location, work-type preference, and experience level.
Your resume file (PDF or Word), if you upload one for the job-alert service, the AI Resume Builder, or a Resume/LinkedIn request. We extract the text to personalize job matching or generate a tailored resume, and the original file is stored securely (see "Where your data is stored" below).
Job descriptions you paste in for the AI Resume Builder or Interview Support requests.
Job-alert delivery data — which alert sessions were sent, roughly how many job matches were included, and (if bounce/complaint tracking is enabled) whether an email you received bounced or was marked as spam.

We do not use cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising trackers on this site. The only outside resources a page may load are Google Fonts (for typography) and, on learning-path pages, embedded YouTube video thumbnails/players.

How we use it

To operate the job-alert service: analyzing your resume, searching for and scoring matching job listings, and emailing you the results.
To generate a tailored resume or prepare Interview Support / Consulting materials, when you request those services.
To send you transactional and service emails — confirmation, activation, status changes, job alerts, and (if you ask) responses to your questions.
To improve and troubleshoot the service, using aggregate, non-identifying statistics about how well the pipeline is running.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share your resume, job description, or contact details with anyone other than the service providers described below, which process it strictly on our behalf.

Where your data is stored and who processes it

Anthropic (Claude AI) — your resume text and job preferences are sent to Claude to analyze your resume, search for job listings, and generate tailored resume content. Anthropic processes this data under its own API terms.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — your subscriber record is stored in a Postgres database (Amazon RDS), your original resume file (if uploaded for job alerts) is stored encrypted in Amazon S3, and email delivery runs through Amazon SES.
Vercel — hosts the website and the serverless functions that process your requests.

We keep your subscriber record for as long as your job-alert subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you resubscribe or have a question about a past request. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see "Your choices" below.

Job alert emails specifically

If you sign up for job alerts, you'll first receive a confirmation email — your alerts do not start until you click the confirmation link. Once confirmed, your resume is analyzed and, once that finishes, your alerts activate automatically (there is no manual approval step). You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in every alert email, or by emailing us.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from job alerts anytime — link in every email, or email ssveerla@goonkeys.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject.
Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us — we'll confirm once it's done.
Correct inaccurate information by emailing us the update, or by resubmitting a form.

Security

Resume files are encrypted at rest in storage. Access to the admin panel and internal endpoints requires a private credential known only to GoOnKeys. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information.

Children's privacy

GoOnKeys is intended for adults seeking employment and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let active subscribers know by email.
